Day Two Hundred and Thirty-Seven - Twinkle Toes

I rarely paint my toenails. This is for several good/crazy reasons. I have weird little feet. They are tiny. They are wide. They have hair. Yes, I think I am a hobbit. Therefore, I'm rarely anxious to show them off [and yet, I'm also committed to not changing them, so whatever - I deal with it]. Also, I don't wear sandals very often. I'm old school in my fashion sensibilities in that I don't think sandals should be worn in most professional environments. And when I'm not in a professional environment I'm either dressing to go out [so I wear heels] or I am planning to be out walking about [so I wear trainers].

Today I was trimming my nails and I thought - what the heck [that's right - heck] - and I painted my toenails rainbow - in honour of Pride, of course. Yes, I only have five toes [it's really one of the only things that my bare feet have going for them - that and the fact that they are softer than most people's hands] and there are six colours in the rainbow so I went with a yellowed green for the middle toe [which is obviously the worst toe you could ever flip @ someone]. So, since I'm going to be otherwise occupied this weekend and unable to Pride it up, I humbly present my feet [in full on crunchy Birkenstock mode, no less]. So while my toes are flashing around poolside this weekend - @ least they will look awesome and perhaps distract from my not-quite-ready-for-primetime bikini body.
