Okay, so my thing for today was going to be me changing a lightbulb while standing on something as I have truly never done this. I went out and found the right lightbulbs - which was an effort in and of itself - we have strange recessed lighting throughout the house and there are so many choices. I came home all set to change a lightbulb and...my ladder isn't tall enough! Yes, I am short and yes, I guess our ceilings are kinda tall. Boo-urns! Then I started to get a migraine and things kinda went to hell...[Joseph put the new bulb in though and it didn't explode or anything].
I decided to try out one of my xmas gifts - this one from my cousins in Alberta. It is this coffee/tea infuser thing - which is sort of the opposite of a French press [which I use daily] - instead of putting a plunger down, you lift it up and everything flows down. When we got the gift [it's for me and Joseph] we couldn't figure out how it worked and the instructions were in Korean [I think]. Well, apparently Joseph and I had too many xmas beers [cold frosty beers on a warm xmas morning!] as this thing is quite easy to use. I had bought some clearance loose tea @ Zellers today [I am nothing if not classy] and I used my new tea infuser with loose tea. The results were mixed - the tea was a fabulous "there will be blood" colour [it was raspberry/strawberry tea], smelled fantastic and was intensely flavoured [sour in a good way - I made it too strong, I know]. However, it only made about half a cup so I had to reboil the water.
And yes, this is post 100! And it kinda sucks! I'm ambitious...
