As you can see from the photo, it's more than just a joystick - it has like a secondary component to it [yes, all of that wanting to be an astronaut/pilot training really paid off - so much retained knowledge]. As previously thought - the game is incredibly difficult and frustrating - this little task ended up being a much better test of patience than the origami crane. I feel like it took HOURS, but I finally managed to complete the training course and kill some cylon drone things. I didn't feel as motion sick while playing as opposed to watching, but I really reeked it up out there. It's a bit disappointing, really - that I can't be more like my TV role model, Starbuck. I guess I will just have to be more like her in other ways [yknow - all of those bad ways].
[ps - clearly i found earth - it's right there on the right-hand side of the screen!]

I had no idea there was a BSG video game. Of course, I only have a couple of PC video games:
1) Myst and all it's sequels for playing at home.
2) The Sims and many expansion packs for playing on the road and around the world!
I used to love the Falcon game, but never had a cool joystick setup like that. Unfortunately, all my game-playing time is dedicated to Nintendo, so I won't be tempted!
There is an official BSG videogame, but it supersucks - I think it's available for most consoles, but you can play a free demo online. The BSG game that we were playing was made by fans - ripped from another videogame called Homeworld. The graphics and feel for flying are very impressive.
I also play Sims, but that's my only PC game. Otherwise it's DS, Wii and PS2 mostly, although we have almost every console except for X-Box.
