I thought it would be an easy job as the outdoor space is small [see previous picture] and I used to water our garden most nights in our old house and I always enjoyed that [mostly because I liked to talk to all of the plants and also to see worms and other cool bugs]. However, I underestimated the amount of containers - high and low they are everywhere. And the water had to be brought up from the basement - the stairs are steep and the watering container is deceptively small. A couple of soakings happened [the hanging pots being the criminals mostly, but also my own incompetence]. Finally Joseph hooked up the hose thing and that helped things considerably. He's so s-m-r-t.

Day Two Hundred and Fifty-Eight - Blue Cardigan Optional
I have been trusted to care for a great many things when others have been away on holiday - cats, dogs, mail, etc. - but never the plants. This could possibly be because anyone who knows me knows that I am the angel of death when it comes to house plants. It was only in the past few years that I discovered that I do amazingly well with outdoor plants, flowers, vegetables, etc. Our upstairs neighbours are away this week and with great quiet comes great responsibility as they wanted me to look after their outdoor grow-ables. I got this kicked off tonight when I watered the neighbours plants. I'm providing the photo of evidence that said watering occurred. Also, I like the big bucket of fresh herbs [I'm so not into flowers as they don't have a solid function] and one of our solar lanterns.

I thought it would be an easy job as the outdoor space is small [see previous picture] and I used to water our garden most nights in our old house and I always enjoyed that [mostly because I liked to talk to all of the plants and also to see worms and other cool bugs].
