No, I am not Jewish. I'm not really anything, really. However, I do like celebrating things [is that a religion?]. I also like making things. Crafty things [because it's so not art...at least, not the way I make it]. At Whole Foods on Friday I bought a fancy advent calendar and also noticed that they had a lot of Hanukkah stuff. One of these "stuffs" involved googly eyes so of course I had to have it.
Tomorrow is the beginning of Hanukkah and so I thought I should make the decorations in advance. So tonight I made Hanukkah crafts. The googly eyes were top notch and also...sequins! Fabulous. The main thing was a menorah and I also did a bunch of foam dreidels and stars. Pom poms were also involved. I'm not quite sure where the googly eyes fit in with the faith...but apparently this craft company has been around since 1949 - so one assumes they know what they are talking about? I only hope that I did the Hebrew letters correct and that it doesn't say anything offensive.
