Another thing about me is that I love monkeys. And apes. Primates generally [although humans are somewhat over-rated]. It seems that I am also attracted to men who share my fondness for these animals...but really - who doesn't love a monkey? Generally speaking, I don't think that women like primates as much as men/boys as they probably think that they are dirty [in more ways than one]. I think primates are clever and classless and cool - so there.
Today I celebrated International Monkey Day. This is a day for celebrating all primates, not just monkeys and I did just that my bringing my favourite stuffed orangutan to work with me. I think that Kathryn enjoyed this very much as she also likes stuffed animals and things that are soft. It was the day after our xmas party so I guess people were pretty hungover and out of it as absolutely no one commented on the stuffed animal, even as we were cuddling it and giving it piggyback rides around the office. In addition, I read a variety of monkey cartoons on the internets.
You just can't go wrong with monkeys!
