Day Thirty-Three - Garfield Was Right

Yes, the orange cat Garfield, not the former President Garfield [although I'm sure he is right about any number of things, but I don't care to Wikipedia him right now]. He is right about a number of things, including his dislike for Odie and, in particular - his love of lasagna. Mmmmm. I know - this isn't exactly groundbreaking news or anything - but lasagna is delicious.

And complicated. Which is why I have never made it @ home [aside from putting a frozen one in the cooker] - it's very intimidating, even though I do love to cook and welcome a challenge. But today I stepped up and I made homemade lasagna. To be specific it was three-cheese vegetable lasagna with a chunky tomato sauce. And honestly, the hardest part about it was actually reading the recipe [coherent recipes are actually quite difficult to write - I know this from my brief days @ Canadian Living/Homemakers magazine]. The end result was the reason why people go so crazy about lasagna - delicious. I just might eat leftovers...[but probably not]...

Another thing Garfield was right about? Mondays suck!
